Houston Drone & Video Production Projects
This portfolio includes drone video, indoor FPV, construction timelapse, interviews, events, broadcast work, and full-service video production completed across Houston and the surrounding region. The projects are different because the assignments were different. A hospital expansion does not film like a trade show. A warehouse fly-through has little in common with an executive interview. An active refinery is not a studio with harder parking.
Featured Case Study
Most industry projects use more than one type of coverage. We can handle the pieces as one production rather than making the client coordinate several separate crews.

Coastal Engineering: Drone Video and Infrastructure Overview for Galveston’s Municipal Upgrades
Project: Pirates Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant
Client: Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN)
Location: Galveston, Texas
Industry: Civil engineering and municipal infrastructure
Production: Low-altitude drone cinematography and aerial progress tracking
LAN needed an engineering overview that could show the physical scope of the modern Pirates Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant and document meaningful civil construction progress. Conventional ground footage could capture individual details, but the project also needed orientation. A viewer had to see how the site fit together.
We used measured, low-altitude drone movement to keep the engineering legible. Wider passes established the overall footprint. Closer aerial views brought construction milestones and structural relationships into focus without reducing the plant to a distant pattern on the ground.
The result is a project-centered infrastructure film. The drone is not decoration at the beginning. It is the camera that makes the site understandable.
What Changes From One Industry to Another?
The cameras may be similar. The production plan usually is not.

Site Access & Safety An office may only require a room reservation. A refinery, hospital expansion or active construction project can involve orientations, escorts, PPE, approved filming areas and equipment restrictions. We confirm those requirements before the crew arrives.

How To Prepare for Production Day We work with your team to ensure the location is prepared and ready to be filmed. This can include advising to move distracting items out of the background. Or find things to add into the background for additional texture. Lighting, wardrobe, and makeup also contribute to the overall look and feel of the final video.

Drone Airspace & Flight Planning Houston has busy airspace. Facilities can also have cranes, power lines, employees, vehicles and operational areas that affect the available flight path. Before aerial filming, we review FAA requirements, site permission, weather and the conditions around the property.

Who Needs to Be on Camera A project superintendent may need a different interview style than a CEO. A customer testimonial is different from a safety demonstration. We can work conversationally, guide an interview with prepared questions or use a teleprompter when exact wording matters.

Noise, Lighting & Operating Schedules Manufacturing equipment does not stop because an interview starts. Neither does an event. We plan interview locations, microphones, lighting and production timing around the real environment rather than assuming every shoot behaves like a studio.

What the Video Needs to Do A leasing video, training video and construction progress update have different jobs. That changes what we film and how the final edit is built. The audience comes first. The camera package follows.
Planning a Project Similar to This Work?
Most single-session, full-service productions fall between $2,000 and $5,000, with editing and final deliverables scoped around the assignment. Standalone indoor FPV projects generally range from $1,500 to $3,000.
Long-term construction timelapse begins around $750 per camera per month before project-specific installation, management, access, connectivity, and editing.

Case Studies and Project Portfolio FAQ
Is this a list of every project Houston Drone Video has completed?
No. It is a selected portfolio organized around relevant industries, locations, and production methods. Some assignments cannot be published because of client agreements, site security, release limitations, agency relationships, or confidential information.
Can your crew film inside an active facility or jobsite?
Yes, when the facility or project team approves the production plan and we can meet the site's access requirements. Before filming, we coordinate around PPE, orientations, escorts, approved areas, equipment restrictions, operating schedules and other site-specific requirements.
Can one project combine drone, FPV, timelapse, interviews, and conventional cameras?
Yes. Large projects often benefit from several forms of coverage, especially when the story includes a location, long-term change, people, and technical work. The production is scoped around what the finished content needs rather than an equipment checklist.
Can an agency hire the crew for Houston capture only?
Yes. Agencies and out-of-state production companies can hire the team for local drone, FPV, timelapse, interviews, b-roll, event coverage, or raw-footage capture. We can follow an established treatment and technical specification or coordinate the Houston portion of a larger campaign.
Do you work outside Houston?
Yes. Houston is the primary market, but the crew can work throughout Texas and travel nationally when the project benefits from consistent production. Travel time, transportation, lodging, permits, local requirements, and equipment movement are included in the estimate before scheduling.
How much does industry video production cost in Houston?
Standalone FPV projects generally range from $1,500–$3,000. Full-service filming sessions are commonly $2,000–$5,000, and construction timelapse starts around $750 per camera per month. Final pricing depends on location, crew size, equipment, access, production time and the number of deliverables.
Do you produce training, safety and orientation videos?
Yes. We work with client safety leaders and facility operations to film procedures and visitor orientation content. These projects usually require additional pre-production because scripts and procedures need to be reviewed before filming.
Do you use teleprompters or green screens?
Yes, when they solve a real production problem. Teleprompters are useful for exact executive, training, or safety language. Green screen can help with controlled backgrounds, modular content, translation, or graphics, but neither belongs in every production.
Do you provide multi-camera coverage for conferences and seminars?
Yes. Business-event production can include keynote and panel recording, breakout sessions, attendee interviews, exhibitor footage, stage audio, recap films, social clips, and full-length presentation delivery. Events with concurrent rooms or rapid turnaround require additional crew and planning.
Need video for a specific industry?
We have worked with SAAS, military defense, aerospace, restaurants, plumbers, banks, deep sea fishing tours, automotive repair, medical, education, seminars, motor sports, professional sports, universities, and many types of industries.
If your industry isn't listed above, tell us what the location is like and what you need to film.
