Houston Construction Timelapse and Progress Services
Professional Houston drone video services for cinematic aerial footage of construction projects, commercial properties, industrial facilities, and business operations.
Long-Term Construction Timelapse
Eighteen months can disappear in ninety seconds. A fixed construction camera records the steady transformation that nobody on site can see in real time. Dirt moves. Foundations take shape. Steel rises. We manage the media through the life of the project and shape the strongest material into a polished construction timelapse.

Short-Term Process and Installation Timelapse
High-frequency timelapse for work that happens over hours or days Short-term timelapse condenses a concrete placement, equipment installation, crane pick, roof replacement, trade-show build, interior transformation, shutdown, or complicated assembly into a tight visual sequence. It is ideal when the important action lasts hours or days instead of months. The final edit can stand alone or become one memorable sequence inside a larger project film.
Recurring Construction Progress Update Coverage
Multiple visits with update videos spanning the duration of the build Scheduled progress photography adds the ground-level detail and alternate angles that a long-term timelapse cannot provide. The coverage can include exterior elevations, interior buildout, major systems, material installations, site logistics, completed areas, and repeatable comparison views. Without a consistent capture plan, progress photos often vary in timing, framing and image quality from one visit to the next.

Full-Service Construction Video Production
Combine timelapse with interviews, ground footage for a full project story A project deserves more than a visual record. So our full production team can add executive interviews, superintendent commentary, owner perspectives, worker stories, ground-camera footage, teleprompter presentations, safety content, recruitment messaging, motion graphics, and social cutdowns. Keeping timelapse, drone coverage and interviews with one production team also keeps the footage, shot list and project knowledge organized across the life of the job.
Houston Construction Timelapse Pricing
Construction timelapse is usually priced in three parts: initial planning and deployment, ongoing camera management, and final editing. It can start at $750 per camera per month.
Additional cameras, mounting positions, engineered supports, cellular service, solar power, travel, restricted access, recurring site visits, drone coverage, interim edits, and a longer project duration can change the scope.
Final pricing depends on setup details locations, production time, editing requirements and project complexity. Please contact us to discuss specific project logistics.
Successful timelapse projects begin with planning, organization, and staying respectful of the realities of an active job site.
Some clients need strategic guidance and a completed edit. Others just need a dependable Houston-based crew who will show up on time, film the site correctly, and hand off organized footage. We support both models.
Our Process

Pre-Production Planning
Before we arrive on the jobsite, we define the capture frequency, operating hours, recurring photo or drone visits, milestone priorities, file handling, and update cadence.
Timelapse Camera Setup
Installing a long-term timelapse camera on an active jobsite requires different planning than a studio shoot. We plan around access, sun direction, likely obstructions, power, and connectivity.
Post-Production Editing
After we complete filming, we organize the footage, build the edits, and quickly deliver the final assets. This may include an overview video, shorter cutdowns, social edits, or uploading the footage.
Houston Construction Timelapse FAQ
Is construction timelapse the same as construction progress photography?
Timelapse uses a consistent camera position and repeated image capture to show change over time. Progress photography uses scheduled site visits and multiple views to document details, phases, and conditions outside the fixed camera’s frame. Many projects benefit from both.
How much does a Houston construction timelapse cost?
It can start at $750/mo per camera. But pricing depends on camera count, project duration, mounting, power, connectivity, maintenance access, recurring visits, progress edits, and the final deliverables. Most proposals separate setup, monthly management, additional coverage, and final post-production so the cost is easier to evaluate.
Is a construction timelapse camera also a security camera?
No. Our primary service is progress documentation and finished media, not live security monitoring or emergency response. If your project also needs theft deterrence, monitored surveillance, incident retrieval, or law-enforcement dispatch, those requirements should be handled by an appropriate jobsite-security provider or specifically included through a qualified partner.
Does the camera need power or internet service?
It depends on the selected system and location. Some installations can use available power and internet, while others require battery, solar, and cellular solutions. We'll review the jobsite requirements and recommend the most practical power and connectivity setup.

Can you film site visitor orientation safety videos (life-saving rules, etc.)?
Yes. We have produced visitor, contractor and employee orientation videos covering topics such as reverse parking, badging and escorts, life-saving rules, site procedures and evacuation protocols. These projects typically require more pre-production because scripts and procedures need to be reviewed with facility and safety teams before filming.

Can you provide remote viewing?
Remote access may be available when the selected camera system, power, connectivity, and service plan support it. If live or near-live viewing is important, tell us before equipment is chosen.
However, a marketing timelapse and a 24/7 accessible security-monitoring system are not interchangeable.
Can an agency hire you only for the timelapse coverage and raw footage?
Yes. Agencies and production companies can hire our Houston crew for timelapse camera setups or local production support. We can follow an existing treatment and shot list, coordinate with the lead production team, and deliver organized footage in the requested format.
How quickly can a timelapse video be delivered after completion?
Usually within a few days we can start uploading the content to somewhere for you to download. However, we are often working through thousands of images per camera so it can take some time to get the highest quality results.
